Reflexology Certificate Course online Reflexology is a holistic modality which was originally called zone therapy. It is a method of stimulating life force through applied pressure with the finger and thumbs on a reflex point located on the feet, hands, and ears. The theory behind reflexology is that these areas correspond to organs and systems of the body. Proponents believe that pressure, when applied to these areas, affects the organs and benefits the person's health and well-being.

This course is open to any health care professionals, anyone with a knowledge of anatomy and physiology or pathology of diseases who may be interested in learning more about its uses in the clinical setting.

Course Content Includes

  • Discuss the theories of foot reflexology
  • What reflexology is and how it works
  • Identify the 10 zones and the horizontal landmarks of the feet. Locate all the reflex points on the feet and ankles
  • Mapping the feet
  • Preparing for treatment and consultation
  • Treatment techniques used in foot reflexology
  • Ability to explain the treatment guidelines, contraindications, and precautions used in foot reflexology.
  • Perform a reflexology treatment
  • Treatment procedures for various organs
  • Completion of treatment and adaptation of treatment
  • What a client might experience during a foot reflexology session
  • Informed consent and initial consult consent treatment form
  • Reflexology consultation and health record form for case studies
  • Procedure for hand treatment addressed

Course Duration Is 16 Weeks Online

Students will be expected to complete a research paper and a total of 20 hands-on case studies that they will find on their own

Upon completion of passing the 20 case studies, a research paper, and a final exam with a passing grade of 70%, the student will receive a Certificate in Reflexology.
